From the granite domes of the Sierra Nevada to the towering peaks of the Canadian Rockies and the dramatic Cascade Range, the mountain landscapes of the American West continue to inspire me deeply. Growing up in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, I spent many years exploring the western slopes from the Tahoe Basin down through Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon. After moving to Los Angeles, I discovered the stunning eastern side of the range, including the vast Owens Valley and the beautiful areas around Bishop and Mammoth Lakes. Yet Yosemite remains one of my all-time favorite places to photograph, and I return to it year after year. Browse the collection below.
