The Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Three Peaks of Lavaredo) are among the most iconic and spectacular mountain formations in the Italian Dolomites. Arriving a couple hours before sunset, I hiked out to the far end for the best vantage point. As the sun dropped, fog began rising from the valley, softly enshrouding the peaks in a beautiful afternoon glow. It was one of those rare, magical evenings when everything came together perfectly. If you ever get the chance to visit the Italian Dolomites, I highly recommend it, this place is unforgettable.
