Southwest Landscapes

From the stark beauty of the Mojave Desert and Great Basin to the dramatic red rock canyons and plateaus of the Colorado Plateau, the American Southwest continues to captivate me like few other places on Earth. I’ve spent years exploring the Mojave from Death Valley to Anza-Borrego and the iconic saguaros and rugged Superstition Mountains. But it’s the red rock country of southern Utah, including the iconic sandstone arches of Moab, that keeps pulling me back. Zion’s towering cliffs, Capitol Reef’s colorful domes, and Bryce Canyon’s otherworldly hoodoos, especially after a winter snowstorm, offer some of the most rewarding landscape photography. More recently I’ve been falling in love with the grandeur of the Wasatch Mountains, with the beauty of their snowcapped peaks, forested slopes, and dramatic alpine landscapes, stunning wildflowers, incredible fall foliage, along with Mount Timpanogos, Utah’s iconic peak. Browse the collection below to explore these desert and canyon landscapes. Every fine art photograph is available as an open-edition print on high-quality acrylic, metal, or archival paper, crafted to preserve the vibrant colors of the Southwest for years to come.
