That sunrise out at Anza Borrego State Park was one of the most amazing light shows I've seen in a while as the sky blew up. I was frantically trying to shoot, trying to find a composition in the cactuses. Then I felt something in my arm and I look and see a piece of a cholla cactus stuck in jacket. Of course Anza Borrego State Park is known for its many varieties of cholla cactus. I try to shake it off realizing its stuck in my arm! Do I keep shooting or should I try to get the thing off? Well I asked my buddy to please pull it off. He looked at me and yelled not with my hands! Good point! I found a couple rocks and told him to try these. Thank goodness he was able to dislodge it out of my arm! Now it was time to get to shooting! What would you have done? That Anza Borrego State Park sunrise is one I'll never forget.
