Yosemite National Park is one of the most popular destinations for photography. One of the best locations to shoot sunrise is along the Merced River with a view of the granite peaks known as The Three Brothers. That summer morning, getting up at 4:30 AM, I took the chance and drove into the dark Yosemite Valley. As I hiked out to the Merced River, to my delight the clouds lit up in a beautiful array of colors along with The Three Brothers peaks. It was the perfect way to greet the new morning.
