Mount Athabasca is located in the Columbia Icefield of Jasper National Park, Canada. Photographs don't do justice to the vast beauty and landscapes of the Canadian Rockies. This is one of my favorite shots from an early morning shoot with Jeff. It was an amazing sunrise, setting up our tripods in the freezing air while waiting for the sun to illuminate the peaks. Here's a fun fact: The waters from the Columbia Icefield feed rivers that flow to three different oceans, the Pacific, Atlantic, and Arctic Oceans.
