Wildflowers in Sequoia National Park

Wildflowers in Sequoia National Park are abundant during the short summer months as snowmelt feeds small streams and waterfalls. Rich soil combined with prescribed burns creates stunning displays, if you know where to look. I heard stories of fields of lupine in the sequoia groves and had to see them for myself. After hiking a couple miles to a remote grove, I found these amazing fields of lupine in a beautiful sequoia forest. My only challenge was the mosquitoes that loved the wildflowers too. The wildflowers in Sequoia National Park did not disappoint.
