The Tre Cime di Lavaredo, known as the Three Peaks of Lavaredo, are among the most iconic and dramatic mountain formations in the Italian Dolomites. Arriving a couple hours before sunset, I hiked out to the far end for the best vantage point.
As the sun dropped lower, fog began rising from the valley, softly enshrouding the sharp limestone spires in a beautiful warm glow. It was one of those rare, magical evenings when everything came together perfectly.
