I will never forget the evening this photograph was made. We arrived early and hiked up a bluff overlooking the beach, eventually finding the perfect foreground filled with beautiful spring yellow coreopsis wildflowers. From there, we settled in as the light began to shift. Slowly, the sky filled with rich color. Deep oranges and soft pinks spread across the horizon as the golden-hour light washed over the coastline, reflecting beautifully off the water and stretching all the way to the horizon in warm, glowing layers. Everything felt still, balanced, and quietly powerful.
