As I try to do every fall, I visit Yosemite Valley for a few days right at the end of October so that I can photograph fall color of Ysemite Valley. That year a couple weeks prior, California had a rare atmpheric river come through, which dumped lots of rain into the Sierras, refilling up the ephemeral waterfalls. One of those waterfalls, the classic Yosemite Falls, now had a good amount of water running down the cliffs, normally dry during the fall season. So I was excited to see the ragging Yosemite Falls with the mix in with the fall colors in Yosemite Valley. I hiked around the valley floor around the river banks of the Merced and came across these colorful cottonwood trees but this time there was a ragging Yosemite Falls. Man, what a sight as I was just attempting to captured this beauty with the peak fall color! Limited edition fine art print available, bringing this Yosemite Falls autumn magic straight to your wall.
