Lake Tahoe delivers some incredible sunsets. It took me three tries to finally capture this one at the iconic Bonsai Rock on the Nevada side. Last winter we made our way down to the lakeshore as the clouds started to look promising.
With no wind, the water stayed perfectly still, creating mirror-like reflections. One of Lake Tahoe's signature features is its crystal clear waters and the granite boulders lining the shore, which make for incredible compositions. I framed Bonsai Rock between the boulders under that unforgettable cotton candy sky.
