Lake Sorapis is one of the most enchanting lakes in the Italian Dolomites. Hiking to Lake Sorapis was my favorite hike in all the Italian Dolomites. This 8-mile hike takes in all the beauty of walking in the Dolomites, but the reward is entirely unique. The color of Lago di Sorapis is a stunning glacier blue. We just stopped in awe watching the light and shadows play, illuminating the enchanting baby blue waters.
