After three tries, this was one of the best sunsets at Bonsai Rock I've ever at Lake Tahoe. Bonsai Rock, Lake Tahoe is a one of best locations to shoot sunsets and normally it doesn't disappoint. I have been trying for three years to get a decent photograph here. That afternoon we tried our luck again, driving out to eastern side of Lake Tahoe, Nevada to the infamous rock. As we made it down the trail to the lake's shore, the light show began and there was nothing but awes and oooos as the sky lite up in color. I'm glad my brother's family let me drag them out here for a third time in the thirty-degree temperatures! Moments like this make every attempt worthwhile.
