Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite is one of the most photographic alpine meadows in the Sierras. After a long day of hiking to Waterwheel Falls, one of the most scenic trails in high country of Yosemite, we finally made it to car. I was completely exhausted. But I couldn't help look at the clouds and a potential for a good sunset. I mustered all the energy I could as drove around Tuolumne Meadows looking for a composition. I found just what I was looking for as the last light of the day put on quiet a great show! The clouds lite up, illuminating Lembert Dome and the surrounding peaks of Tuolumne Meadows. It was one those magical moments when the light hit just right. Despite the fact the mosquitoes were biting and my feet and tripod were stuck in mud I didn't care.
